Green Steve Is Sponsoring The Green & Ethical Christmas Fayre

Green and Ethical Christmas Fayre in Clapham

Saturday December 8th – put the date in your calendars boys and girls – the greenest of Christmas Fayres is coming to town.

Returning for its second year, the Green & Ethical Christmas Fayre in Clapham gives you the chance to buy Christmas presents and accessories that don’t cost the Earth in either money or environmental terms.

Held in and around the Holy Trinity Church on the North side of Clapham Common between 10am and 4pm, there will be a nice selection of stalls (click here to view just some of the stalls that will be there) where you can buy unique and interesting gifts ranging from hand made, sustainable Christmas cards from Nicaragua to organic children’s clothing.

Father Christmas will be popping down to say hello as he is a big fan of all things green and any children who want to visit him while he is here will be able to – I hear he’ll also have a number of ethically sourced wooden toys to hand out to those kids who have been on their best behaviour this year!

If you fancy a bite to eat then there will be a fantastic green café where you can get yourself a meat-free snack. Much of the grub will be homemade and perfect to warm up on what is likely to be a crisp December day (that means wrap up warm in plenty of layers to trap the heat).

I encourage you to join the event on Facebook to help spread the good word. You can do so by clicking here: https://www.facebook.com/events/371435776277084/

Just so you know, tickets are £1 for adults with children going free. This money helps support the Fayre and covers the running costs of holding it.

I encourage you all to get yourself down to Clapham on the 8th December to show your support for the Fayre and the stallholders who are selling their wares.
